What is CASUS?
CASUS is a cased based multimedia training and authoring shell for the education of medical students and
physicians, but CASUS is also used in other content domains like veterinary medicine, law and anglistics.
CASUS is implemented into the curriculum at 15 faculties in Germany and integrated into the Virtual
University of Bavaria. CASUS is also successfully implemented in the USA
(CLIPP-project), in EU-states
(e.g. Networm), Switzerland, Brazil.
Right now in the USA more than 4000 case sessions per week and overall up to 18.000 sessions per month are
successfully completed.(see chart).
