"The medical projects CASUS: Case-based learning in medicine (Ludwig Maximilians-
University) and CAMPUS Pediatrics
of the University Heidelberg are both winner of the MEDIDA-PRIX Software award. They share the prize-money of
25.000 Euro. Both projects are outstanding examples for problem-oriented learning in the
field of medicine."
The Learning system CASUS is developed by INSTRUCT in cooperation with the university working group
"Medizinische Lernprogramme" (CBT) at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Unversity Munich. INSTRUCT offers services for the CASUS system as well as
complete case selections on CD-ROM. The university working group has many cooperations with university partners
to guarantee an effective use of CASUS for further education.
